Corner lots in South Jordan receive special setback treatment under Title 17 zoning. Both sides facing a public street are considered front or street-side yards. The primary front setback (toward the addressed street) uses the full front setback (typically 20–30 feet), while the secondary street-side setback is often reduced to 15 to 20 feet. Fences in street-side yards are limited in height — typically 3 to 4 feet in the required setback to preserve visibility.
