[...] A.Notwithstanding any other provision in the city Code to the contrary, the business premises of a pawnbroker shall not be located within one mile of the business premises of another pawnbroker. This restriction shall apply to all pawnbroker licenses issued under this chapter after March 21, 2012. However, this one-mile restriction shall not apply to pawnbroker businesses licensed under this chapter having a city sales tax license issued prior to February 21, 2012.
