020(E) of the Fullerton Municipal Code regulates tattoo parlors as a special use permitted with provisions in the city's zoning code. A tattoo parlor must sit at least 500 feet from any other tattoo parlor or K-12 grade school and at least 250 feet from a residential zone, with distance measured from the closest tenant wall of the tattoo parlor to the nearest wall of an existing tattoo parlor, or to the property line of the school or residentially zoned parcel. 040. Every tattoo parlor is capped at 3,000 gross square feet, regardless of zone.
