Amherst requires site plans in eight mixed-use zoning districts, Traditional Infill 2.5, Traditional Infill 4, Center 2.5, Center 5, Center 8, Deep Corridor 3, Deep Corridor 5 and Shallow Corridor 3, to pass design review by the Town's five-member Design Advisory Board before the Planning Board can approve them. The Board applies the Town's official Design Guidelines for Mixed-Use Districts under Amherst Code Chapter 5.
