Arvada Land Development Code § 4-6-6-1 requires new development to plant at least one deciduous street tree for every 40 feet of street frontage, installed between the curb and detached sidewalk in an eight-foot-wide streetscape area. Trees taller than 25 feet at maturity cannot be planted under or within ten feet of overhead power lines, and adjacent property owners maintain the trees.
