Compton's Low-Density Residential Zone (R-L) requires a 20-foot front yard, a 3-foot interior side yard, a 5-foot street side yard, and a 20-foot rear yard under Municipal Code Sec. 30-8.3(f). The High-Density Residential Zone (R-H) allows a smaller 15-foot front yard and 10-foot rear yard. Corner lots under 90 feet deep may reduce the rear yard to 20% of lot depth, never less than 10 feet.
