Sidewalk & Mobile Vending
Dade City requires a solicitor's permit from the city clerk before anyone sells food, beverages or merchandise from a mobile cart on a public sidewalk, street or park. Carts must sit at least 18 inches off the curb, leave six feet of sidewalk clear, and stay five feet from crosswalks and fire hydrants. Vending is limited to 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily under Sec. 26-233.
