De Pere bicyclists must follow state traffic law, keep their bikes in safe mechanical condition, and follow strict passenger-seat rules under Sec. 130-2. Riding is separately banned on the Riverwalk, Wildlife Viewing Pier and Fishing Piers under Sec. 150-6(d), even though bicycles are otherwise allowed on city sidewalks generally.
