Bike Lane Rules
Parking or standing in a marked bicycle lane is prohibited in Eugene unless the vehicle leaves at least 3.5 feet of unobstructed bike lane between it and the nearest travel lane, under EC 5.225(1)(i). It is one of the code's most heavily fined parking violations: up to $1,000 under EC 5.990(3), double the standard $500 parking fine.
