Everett requires anyone peddling, canvassing or soliciting door-to-door within city limits to hold a city license before starting. The Chapter 5.36 license costs $25 a year, or $5 a day for street hawking, and the city clerk can deny or revoke it for fraud or a moral-turpitude conviction within the last ten years.
