In the Town of Irondequoit, Code § 164-6 bans portable outdoor solid-fuel-burning fireplaces on Town property and bans cooking grills there unless the Town is directly supervising a special event. The Code never uses the word smoker. On private ground, § 69-6 excepts fires used for preparing food, provided they create no nuisance.
