Structure Height Limits

Kent caps residential building height by zoning district under KCC 15.04.170(I): 2.5 stories and 35 feet in the NR-L and NR-S single-family zones and in the A-10 agricultural zone, and only 2.5 stories and 28 feet in NR-2 unless the lot retains an existing dwelling or an 18-inch tree, which raises the NR-2 cap to 3 stories and 35 feet.
