Fireworks
Kirkwood bans anyone other than the City itself from selling or using fireworks within city limits. Kirkwood Code of Ordinances § 17-80 makes it unlawful for any person, except the City of Kirkwood, to sell or use pyrotechnics. The ban does not stop a properly licensed manufacturer or distributor from storing, selling, shipping or transporting fireworks under state and federal law.
