In the City of Lacey, Washington, camping in any park, street or publicly owned parking lot or area is a misdemeanor. Between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the officer must ask whether the camping is due to homelessness and cannot cite when shelter space is full. Camping is never allowed in residential areas.
