Lakewood requires property owners to eradicate or suppress any noxious or designated undesirable plant defined under Colorado's noxious weed statute, C.R.S. § 35-5.5-101 et seq., as directed by the Code Enforcement Supervisor, under Municipal Code § 9.80.020(A)(5). Mowing, if the Supervisor picks it as the suppression method, must cut to six inches within 100 feet of a habitable structure or 12 inches beyond that.
