Lower Merion Township parks and playgrounds close at sunset. Township Code § 109-9 limits public access to the hours between sunrise and sunset daily, unless the Township Manager sets different hours for a Township-sponsored event or Chapter A168 provides otherwise. Anyone present after closing, other than authorized Township personnel, faces a summary fine of up to $600 under § 109-21 and can be removed by police.
