Window Signs
In Oakland's RU-4, RU-5, and all Commercial and Industrial Zones, a window sign cannot cover more than 25% of any single window under Planning Code § 17.104.020(K). Signs count toward the property's aggregate sign area cap, but interior signs set back 18 inches or more behind the glass are exempt from the limit entirely.

Window signs shall count against the total allowable aggregate sign area for the property as measured in Subsection 17.104.020.B.
