In the City of Tamarac, City Code Sec. 5-209 makes every occupant responsible for exterminating rodents, vermin and other pests within the space they occupy, while the owner, agent or operator of a dwelling, hotel or rooming house must jointly control and exterminate rodents in shared or public areas whenever their own failure to maintain the property caused the infestation.
