Reports can be submitted by calling 311 (or 614-645-3111 from outside the city), online at columbus.gov/311, or via the CBUS 311 mobile app. The online system and app allow photo uploads and GPS-tagged locations. Anonymous complaints are accepted through all channels. After submission, a service request number is assigned for tracking. Residents can look up existing 311 requests online. The department enforces Columbus City Code Chapters 4509 (Enforcement and Penalties), 4113 (Property Maintenance), and 4517 (Vacant Structures).
