Rule 18 of the Burlington County Parks System Rules and Regulations bars camping, tents, shelters or encampments anywhere in the county's parks without the County's express permission, defining "camp" broadly enough to cover bedding or sleeping gear left to sleep overnight on park property.

No person shall engage in camping, or erect or maintain a tent, shelter, or camp in any park without express permission from the County. "Camp" includes but is not limited to bedding, sleeping bags or other material for bedding purposes that are placed to provide a temporary place to live and/or sleep during non-business hours of the Park.
