Sexually oriented businesses can locate only in Calaveras County's General Commercial (C2) zone, and only with a conditional use permit; Table 17.06.020 bars them outright from the Historic Center, Local Commercial, and Professional Office zones. Every site must sit at least 1,000 feet from any other sexually oriented business and at least 1,000 feet from a park, K-12 school, day care center, youth center, or the county library and its branches.
