Solicitor Permits
Anyone without a fixed county business or residence who goes house to house selling merchandise, taking orders or peddling subscriptions must register under Chapter 5.16. The fee is fifty cents per day with a fifteen-dollar minimum, licenses run no longer than one quarter, and each solicitor needs a separate license even if they work for the same company.
