Camden County issues no private-tree permits, but every NJ municipality was required to adopt a tree removal and replacement permit ordinance under NJDEP's MS4 stormwater permit. Removing trees near streams also falls under NJDEP flood-hazard riparian rules.

The project, in combination with all activities onsite since November 5, 2007, will not result in a net loss of greater than one-quarter acre of riparian zone vegetation.
