Columbia County requires anyone peddling goods door to door, or soliciting magazine and subscription sales, to hold a permit under Sec. 22-130 before operating. Applicants file a detailed 21-item application, pay up to $100 per continuous stint, appoint a Georgia registered agent, and can only work between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
