Parade Permits

Holding a parade, procession, or public assemblage in a street, square, or park in unincorporated Effingham County requires permission from the county commission first. Sec. 42-8 makes any such gathering unlawful without that prior approval, and county law enforcement can also set temporary traffic rules under Sec. 74-2 for congestion the event creates.
