Location Permits
Filming a movie, TV production, or soundtrack in a Hawai'i County park with a professional cast, crew, or set requires written permission from the parks director first, under HCC §15-22. Bona fide news and newsreel personnel are exempt, but any other production that skips the permit is violating the parks chapter.
