Farm Nuisance Protection

Hendricks County exempts normal farm and farming-related noise from its nuisance ordinance, so tractors, grain dryers, livestock, and other routine agricultural sounds cannot be prosecuted as a noise nuisance, including during the county's 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. quiet hours.
