Any mobile food unit operating in unincorporated Howard County needs a valid permit from the county Health Officer before serving food, under Code § 110.02. The permit must be posted where customers can see it, complies with Indiana State Board of Health rules, and runs on a calendar-year term from January 1 through December 31, renewed annually regardless of how many locations the truck visits.
