Park Event Permits
Howard County's parks ordinance requires written permission from the Park and Recreation Board or its Director before a visitor can bring firearms into a county park, build any fire outside a grill, or camp overnight. Section 93.02 also requires Board permission to post signs or hold organized activity in a park, making written sign-off the default for anything beyond ordinary day use.
