Restaurant Grade Cards

Jefferson County does not grade restaurants with letter cards; instead every food establishment must annually obtain, and post in public view, a County food and beverage permit from the Jefferson County Health Center. Renewal requires passing a sanitary inspection before the old permit expires, under Sections 230.030 and 230.040 of the county's Food Service Sanitation Order.
