Electrical Permits
Kootenai County adopts the 2018 International Building and Residential Codes but expressly excludes the NEC Electrical Code from that adoption, so the county itself doesn't administer electrical permits. Before the county's building official will sign off on a certificate of occupancy, the project must show final approval from the Idaho State Electrical Inspector.
