Street Fair Rules

Kootenai County requires a conditional use permit before any street fair, festival, or outdoor concert can operate on unincorporated land zoned agricultural, rural, commercial, mining, light industrial, or industrial. The planning department reviews a full site plan covering security, parking, waste control, and traffic, then routes it to the sheriff's office, Panhandle Health District, Idaho Transportation Department, and the local fire district before the board signs off.
