Pool Permits
In unincorporated La Plata County, Colorado, the Board of County Commissioners' building code exempts residential swimming pools not within a structure or enclosure from the building permit requirement. The exemption in § 18-35(105.2) does not excuse the pool from setback, flood plain, or other County Code rules, and public pools answer to the state health department.
