Fireworks

Madison County bans the sale, possession, use or explosion of fireworks anywhere in the unincorporated county unless the county has issued a permit for a consumer fireworks display or a pyrotechnic display. Permits cost $25, require a Fire Chief inspection, and displays cannot fire within 600 feet of any hospital, asylum or infirmary. Violators face confiscation and a fine of up to $1,000 per occurrence.
