Code of Ottawa County § 400.3.1.6(a)(x) bars anyone from camping on land the Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Commission runs as parks unless the Commission gives written permission first. Section 400.3.1.3(f) defines camping broadly: sleeping on the ground, in a tent, hammock, trailer, camper, motor vehicle, or boat parked or placed on Commission property overnight or even just for the day.
