Rockland County's Drone Regulation Law confines recreational drone flights to a person's own private property, another owner's property with permission, and public property, other than parks, with the written permission of the controlling municipality or agency. Flying anywhere else, including near the County jail, schools or houses of worship, is a violation punishable by escalating fines.
