Outdoor Kitchen Permits

Sacramento County's zoning code caps single-family and duplex homes at one kitchen per dwelling, but an outdoor kitchen doesn't count against that limit. Table 5.7.C of the Development Standards expressly exempts outdoor kitchens from the one-kitchen rule, so a backyard cooking setup with a built-in grill, sink and counter space sits outside the restriction entirely.
