Syringe Disposal
Skagit County regulates home sharps disposal under SCC 12.16.350. Residents must contain used needles and syringes in puncture-resistant, leak-proof, labeled 'Biohazard' and 'Sharps' containers, never loose in a recycling or trash bin, and may set out a sealed container with regular household trash only if no source-separated sharps collection program is available.
