Bike Lane Rules
Thurston County requires cyclists on a roadway to keep right and ride no more than two abreast, and mandates using an adjacent bicycle path instead of the roadway wherever one exists. Breaking these rules is a misdemeanor under TCC 12.61.580, and TCC 12.80.060 separately bars wheeled all-terrain vehicles from operating or parking in any designated bicycle lane.
