Fencing & Safety Requirements

Unincorporated Twin Falls County requires any swimming pool not fully enclosed inside a building to sit back at least five feet from the property line and be surrounded by a fence or wall at least five feet tall under County Code section 8-9-6. Gates must self-close and self-latch, and no opening in the barrier may exceed thirty-six square inches.
