Any open-air event in unincorporated Union County that charges admission and draws more than 200 people for six or more continuous hours needs a permit from the county's human services director before it can be organized, sponsored or held.

Union County Code of Ordinances § 26-50(a)

No person shall organize, sponsor or hold any mass gathering in the county unless a permit has been issued to such person by the director under the provisions of this article. A permit shall be required for each mass gathering and is not transferable to other persons.
