In unincorporated Walker County, off-premises signs (billboards) cannot exceed 12 feet in height or 36 feet in width under Sec. 22-192, and the ordinance flatly bans any billboard along Georgia Highway 193 from the Tennessee line, Georgia Highway 136 from the Dade County line, the McLemore Cove Historic District, and the slopes of Lookout Mountain, Pigeon Mountain and Taylors Ridge.
