Short-Term Rental Permits
Anyone operating a short-term rental or other transient lodging in Washington County must register with the county within 15 days of starting business under WCC 3.08.190. The county then issues a free certificate of authority to collect the lodging tax, a tax registration, not a land-use permit, that must be posted where guests can see it.
