Unincorporated Wayne County, Indiana's zoning ordinance flatly excludes vehicle repair from its list of home-based service trades. County Code Section 156.422(D)(2)(b) states that 'the repair or manufacturing of vehicles, including upholstery' is not a Level 3 home occupation, so a resident cannot legally run an auto repair shop out of a house or accessory building even though other hands-on trades like appliance or bicycle repair qualify.
