Barking Dogs
Wayne County Code § 90.07 bans owning or keeping a dog that emits unreasonable noise, defined as frequent or habitual barking or howling that seriously annoys a reasonable person, in unincorporated areas of the county. A citation needs two independent complaints and a prior warning, and repeat offenders can have the dog impounded.
