Carver County Code of Ordinances § 130.04 bars juveniles from public places during set nighttime hours that get later as the child ages: under-12s face a 9 p.m. weeknight and 10 p.m. weekend curfew, 12-14 year olds get an extra hour, and 15-17 year olds are covered from 11 p.m. weeknights and after midnight on weekends.
(A) It is unlawful for a juvenile under the age of 12 to be present in any public place within the county: (1) Any time between 9:00 p.m. on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and 5:00 a.m. of the following day; and/or (2) Any time between 10:00 p.m. on any Friday or Saturday and 5:00 a.m. the following day. ... (C) It is unlawful for any juvenile age 15 to 17 years to be in any public place within the county: (1) Any time between 11:00 p.m. on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and 5:00 a.m. of the following day; and/or (2) Any time between 12:01 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on any Saturday or Sunday.

Violations & Fines
Section 130.99 states any curfew violation is subject to prosecution and penalties, and specifically makes a parent's or business operator's violation under 130.04(D) or (E) a misdemeanor. An affirmative defense exists under § 130.05(B) if the business promptly notified the Police or Sheriff's Department that a juvenile was on the premises during curfew hours, or if the operator reasonably relied in good faith on the juvenile's proof of age.
