PBC Code §11-101 establishes curfew for minors under 17 in unincorporated areas. Sunday-Thursday curfew runs 11 PM to 5 AM; Friday-Saturday extends to 12:01 AM to 5 AM. Exceptions: minors accompanied by parent/guardian, traveling to/from work, school, or religious activity, or responding to emergency. Parents/guardians may also be cited for permitting violations. Several PBC municipalities (West Palm Beach, Riviera Beach) have additional local curfews.
Minor: civil citation, parental notification, possible referral to juvenile court. Parent/guardian: $50-$500 fine for permitting violation.
