Noblesville, IN Curfew Laws: Juvenile Curfew (2026)

Noblesville Code of Ordinances § 130.01 sets curfew hours for 15, 16, and 17 year olds: unlawful to be in a public place between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Saturday or Sunday, after 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, or before 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Section 130.02 imposes a tighter curfew on children younger than 15: unlawful to be in public after 11:00 p.m. or before 5:00 a.m. on any day. Section 130.03 exempts a child accompanied by a parent, guardian, or custodian, or an adult they designate, or a child going to or from lawful employment, a school-sanctioned activity, or a protected expressive, religious, or associational activity.

Enforcement runs through I.C. 34-28-5-1: the Noblesville Police Department files a complaint that the city directs to Noblesville City Court and to the child's parent, guardian, or custodian when known, per § 130.04. The court may also order injunctive relief to prevent further violations. Section 130.05 separately makes it unlawful for a parent, guardian, or custodian of a child under 18 to knowingly allow that child to violate the curfew. Both the Ordinance dates to Ord. 46-9-00, passed October 10, 2000, and remains the operative curfew law for the city.
