Full Breakdown

Aurora Code of Ordinances § 30-18 makes it unlawful for any unauthorized person to be in or on a city park, park facility, or park premises when closed, and closes all city parks daily from dusk until sunrise with limited exceptions -- lit league games running past sunset, golf course play up to an hour before sunrise April through September, and city golf clubhouse events. Any section of a park can also be closed at other times by the superintendent of parks. A person remaining on park property outside open hours without express authorization may be charged with trespass. This applies to every city park across Aurora's four counties.
