Solano County's park rules are codified in Chapter 19 (Parks, Recreation and Other Public Property) and apply to county parks such as Lake Solano Park. Rather than fixing a single curfew time, Section 19-70 authorizes the parks division to close, restrict, or set hours for any park or facility, and day-use hours are posted at each park by the parks division. Camping without a valid permit is prohibited (Section 19-220), and overnight use is limited to designated camping areas - so staying in a day-use area after posted closing is not allowed. Posted operational rules include: gates to the Lake Solano campground close daily at the posted time and reopen at 8 a.m.; no camp arrivals are permitted after 9 p.m. at Lake Solano; and quiet hours are observed in all camping areas between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., during which no excessive noise is allowed. Camping permits are limited to 14 days with a mandatory 30-day out period, and no one under 18 may camp without a parent or guardian. Section 19-160 lists prohibited acts (litter, fires outside designated areas, fireworks, amplified noise without a permit, and similar).
